At the Christmas market in the centre of town is a stall run by Lithuanians, selling ceramic painted buildings. They all have a large working chimney so that they can be used as incense burners, but they are decent enough for wargaming. I think the 'paint' is fired-on glaze, so it should last, although they'd shatter if you dropped them.
The £33 one would suit 28mm figures, and the £15 ones would suit 15mm.

A surprise game
We had a surprise Wild West game today, as poor Lawrence isn't well.

The write up is on my blog at Herkybirds nest
